We are pleased to announce the relocation of our corporate headquarters to Greenway Plaza’s Phoenix Tower in Houston’s Upper Kirby neighborhood.

The HR Analyst will lead key projects and develop metrics and reports to support both Human Resources and business operations. This role involves managing projects from inception to completion, applying project management expertise, and leveraging data analysis to identify process improvement opportunities. The HR Analyst will balance multiple priorities, ensuring efficient organization and delivery. In addition, this position will act as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas, ensuring data integrity, troubleshooting, and testing system changes to enhance performance and reliability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare reports/queries, including writing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools and BI Dashboards. Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs and also preparing and running reports with short notice.
  • Have an understanding of all the organization’s HR functions and the metrics used to measure their success. Proactively analyze relevant data/information for opportunities for continuous process improvement, and make sure they are quantified and prioritized.
  • Design, build, deliver and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for all areas of the business, providing insights that drive decision-making.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and audits of HR data to ensure accuracy and integrity, taking corrective actions as needed to maintain data quality.
  • Provide support to the HR Leadership Team with projects and assignments.
  • Manage projects and a variety of HR processes while always trying to improve the flow, including applying change management experience to provide higher levels of quality.
  • Conduct trainings on user procedures, guidelines and documentation, new processes and training new system users.
  • Prepare the annual EEOC report and ensure compliance with federal reporting requirements.
  • Compile and analyze compensation surveys and prepare other compensation-related reports as needed.
  • Oversee the HRIS system, to include system maintenance, including researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Collaborate and build relationships with key functional leaders across departments.
  • Stay current with emerging HR trends, especially those related to information systems, training techniques, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Requires at least 2 years of relevant, professional experience with an emphasis on data analytics, BI Dashboards, HRIS systems, employee engagement, employee relations, or recruiting.
  • At least 2 years work experience of increasing responsibilities in time sensitive and complex functions preferred.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated organization and time management, which includes the ability to multi-task and run multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining thoroughness and precision.
  • Instinctive understanding of leverage and “the most important thing,” can self-analyze area of focus based on goals and build and execute plan without heavy oversight.
