Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 per year

As one of the fastest-growing companies in our industry, we are seeking a driven and experienced HR Generalist to join our team and help shape the future of our West Coast operations.

Your Role:
This is a stand-alone HR role on-site at our LAX location, where you’ll provide full-spectrum HR support for the West Coast region with guidance from our HQ team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This position has significant growth potential to take on additional responsibilities in our expanding West Coast operations.

As an HR Generalist, you’ll wear many hats and oversee:

• Recruitment & Onboarding: Full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and managing onboarding for new hires to meet staffing needs.
• Employee Relations: Handle employee concerns, conduct investigations, resolve disputes, and coach managers on employee performance and disciplinary processes.
• HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with California HR laws, including wage and hour regulations, leaves of absence, OSHA, and local employment laws.
• Policy Development & Communication: Implement company policies and HR programs, tailoring them to meet the needs of the LAX station while maintaining company-wide standards.
• Performance Management: Develop and oversee performance evaluations, coaching processes, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Compensation & Benefits: Administer payroll, benefits, and 401(k) programs, while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
• Safety & Health: Promote a culture of safety by implementing programs, leading audits, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For:

• A true HR generalist who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Education & Experience:
  • Associate’s degree with 3 plus years of HR Generalist experience OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR with 2 years of HR Generalist experience.
• Preferred: Experience in the transportation or logistics industry; bilingual is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of California HR laws, including employment law compliance, wage/hour laws, and safety regulations.
• Proven ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote HQ team.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel up to 30% for training, recruitment, and operational support.
