About The Role: The purpose of the HR Administrator is to assist in the execution, development and implementation of key HR programs and initiatives. This role will be responsible for a wide range of tasks within the Human Resources department for over 170 employees. They may carry out responsibilities in some or all the following functional areas: recruitment and employment, training and development, employee relations, affirmative action, employee rewards and recognition, and safety programs, all while maintaining strict confidentiality.
What's needed for this role?
- Answers frequently asked questions from employees and managers relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate point of contact
- Assists with employee relations investigations, handling with the utmost confidentiality.
- Assist with event logistics for on-site/off-site meetings for senior management and organize internal company events, i.e. dinners, happy hours, and annual company party.
- Assists VP of People with the recruitment process by reviewing candidates and qualifications in our ATS, sharing resumes with managers, and performing initial screening calls
- May conduct or assist with exit interviews.
- Responds to requests for verifications of employment, and employee letter requests.
- Distributes new hire orientation packets.
- Conducts and / or assists VP of People with new hire orientation for employees as well as assists new hires with their onboarding paperwork.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files, records, and documentation. Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Oversee inventory of office snacks, supplies, and fulfill employee office supply inventory,
- HS Diploma/GED equivalent required
- Must have 2 years' experience in a comparable role; i.e. office administration, HR administration, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- HRIS experience desired, Paylocity preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
