About the Role:

We are seeking a highly qualified HR Services Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing & Warehouse industry for this hybrid role. As the HR Services Manager, you will be responsible for partnering with other HR members and ensuring that all HR services are delivered efficiently and effectively. You will be expected to provide strategic direction and guidance for HR services to the HR team for as well as managing the day-to-day services for our Niterra associates. The ideal candidate will also assist in ensuring that our company attracts, develops, and retains the best talent in the industry.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR role, with progressive experiences
  • 3 years of experience in a management or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and regulations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be willing to work on site in Wixom, MI on a hybrid basis
  • <10% travel expectations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience implementing and/or operating DEIB principles and employee resource groups
  • Experience in Manufacturing & Warehouse industry

Responsibilities:

  • Key member of the HR team at Niterra Regional Headquarters, shaping the direction of people, culture and communication initiatives and practices. Will positively build organizational capability and drive associate engagement.
  • Leads Culture Champion Framework and Steering Committee shaping Niterra’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, employee resource groups (ERGs) and tracks relevant KPI data
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company's goals and objectives
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates
  • Oversee the onboarding process including consistent and efficient processing of background checks and drug testing process
  • Practice employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management. May provide employee relations support and HR business partnership to some key corporate department leaders and their teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, reporting and affirmative action requirements
  • Serves as lead for internal/external audit processes and maintains HR IATF requirements
  • Manages the job description modification, development and maintenance process ensuring consistency across the organization
  • Manages the internal HR & record keeping processes
  • Manages handbook and policy administration to meet legal and regulatory requirements
  • Maintains corporate HR calendar of activities, initiatives and events, while also leading strategic HR projects
  • Works collaboratively with HR Team including HR Business Partners to provide support of process and policy efficiencies
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures including safety, IATF16949 and ISO14000 related policies
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement training and development programs for employees
