Position Summary: The Strategic HR Partner is a really interesting role for us, encompassing HR operational responsibilities and strategic partnership within business units; or in other words, you will manage day-to-day HR functions while aligning HR initiatives with organizational objectives to drive performance and growth!
Typical Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
Compensation: $76k-$80k (dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

Key Responsibilities:
Operational HR Functions:
- Business Compliance: Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments, including safety training, professional licensure, and certifications.
- Talent Management/Onboarding: Assist the Director of Talent Acquisition with talent/new- hire management, including building and facilitating effective onboarding experience for new hires.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, mediate conflicts, and promote a positive workplace environment.
- Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate enrollment, communication, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll/employment laws and company policies, conducting regular audits and updates as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Strategic HR Partnership:
- Business Alignment: Collaborate with department leaders to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support organizational success.
- Accountability Processes: Establish and maintain accountability frameworks to ensure HR initiatives are executed effectively and align with business objectives.
- Metric Tracking: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of HR programs on business outcomes, utilizing HR analytics to inform decision-making.
- Talent Management: Identify workforce needs, assist in succession planning, and implement development programs to cultivate employee skills and leadership capabilities.
- Change Management: Lead and support initiatives related to organizational change, ensuring effective communication and minimal disruption to operations.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement programs aimed at enhancing employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field - OR - commensurate combined education & professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist and/or HR Business Partner role, with a comprehensive understanding of HR best practices and employment laws
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Demonstrated high proficiency with HR CRM and payroll systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SPHR, etc).
- Experience in construction, trades, or manufacturing industries
