Reports to: Sr. Manager, HR

Location: Lansing, MI

Summary:

In this role, you will provide strategic leadership to the Human Resources team, aligning HR initiatives with the company’s business objectives. You will set clear goals, communicate the vision and priorities, and establish expectations to drive organizational success.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives
  • Provide expert guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and values
  • Lead the corporate and manufacturing talent acquisition strategies and partner with recruitment teams to attract, hire, and retain top talent
  • Establish staffing strategies that align with current and future business needs and foster a diverse, high-performing workforce
  • Oversee the implementation of learning & development programs that align with organizational goals and employee growth
  • Collaborate with leaders to identify skill gaps, design training initiatives, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Lead the development and implementation of performance management processes across the organization
  • Support the design and implementation of succession planning programs that ensure a pipeline of talent for critical roles
  • Lead the rollout and communication of HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with business goals and ensure fairness and consistency across all levels of the organization
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing guidance on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and organizational changes
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to HR team members on organizational structure decisions, changes, and workforce planning
  • Develop and track key HR performance indicators (KPIs) that align with business objectives and measure the success of HR initiatives
  • Analyze trends in employee engagement, turnover, performance management, and talent acquisition to drive actionable insight
  • Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
    • Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
    • Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience
  • SHRM or other relevant certification preferred

Experience:

  • 7 to 10+years of experience in HR Management, developing and driving initiatives, project planning & execution
  • 3 to 6+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Cultivating and driving a performance-centered work culture at all levels of the business
  • Demonstrated HR Management experience from automotive manufacturing company is a plus
