Aviation Service Partners (ASP) is looking for Human Resorces Business Partner that will analyze everyday HR activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management.
Description:
The key focus of this role is to provide and ensure the provision of the support for Leaders, Managers and Employees on organizational development and employee matters, as well as coaching, HR process expertise and other general HR activities including payroll and Employee & Union Relations.
This individual will apply his/her knowledge and understanding of employee relations, recruitment and selection, discipline and grievance and all other HR activities. The individual will also act as an internal consultant on all employment issues and will possess strong knowledge of legislation to ensure managers and employees are advised correctly and within company policy and employment law guidelines.
Roles and Responsibilities
The role is key to execute people initiatives, customer support, functional excellence, and process improvement.

A first point of contact for employees & managers
Ensures the resolution of employee relations issues of various levels of complexity, with guidance as needed from the leadership team or more senior team members.
Ensure HR data integrity/accuracy.
Daily Maintenance and update of HR data; new employees onboarding, benefit enrollment, employee records and information, assistance tracker, etc.
Liaison with accounting team
Payroll administration (be in charge of payroll process)
Responsible for initiating various employee actions (i.e., leaves of absence, salary changes, terminations, etc.).
Conducts new employee orientation and exit interviews as required
Employee engagement programs design & execution
Support Organization & Talent Development Initiatives (Support the development, communication and implementation of various human resources initiatives including performance management, compensation, target setting and career development)
Autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy/parameters.
Collect and provide data on employee concerns, including engagement and morale, and use this to make relevant recommendations.
Support to prepare reports as needed.
A job at this level requires solid interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
This role requires at least 5 years of experience in the Human Resources & Employee Human Resource Management.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Relations or other HR-related disciplines.
English Proficiency
Demonstrated knowledge and application of employment laws, HR procedures and practices.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management.
Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment.
Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
Good strategic thinker able to take moderately complex projects and see them through completion.
Skilled at multitasking, organizing and prioritizing work.
Ability to function in a team environment, displaying flexibility.
Must be able to work in high-pressure situations facing strict deadlines.
Must be detail oriented.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitive materials/documents.
Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with an aptitude for learning and using new software tools.
Strong knowledge of key HR systems, such as HRIS/Payroll systems, performance management, succession planning and recruiting. (Primarily ADP)
