We are currently seeking a HR Specialist II for our client in the Federal domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Role Description: As a HR Specialist II, you must have at least 6+ years of experience. As the Human Resources Specialist, you will work closely with other Human Resource professionals and managers to ensure that compensation and benefits programs are fair, competitive, and in compliance with legal requirements.

You will conduct research, analyze data, and provide recommendations to ensure that the organization’s compensation and benefits programs are competitive and align with the company’s objectives.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree

- Must have a minimum of five (5) years performing HR Specialist duties in a Federal agency environment

- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required government security check

Key Responsibilities:

- Performs a range of compensation duties for the supported organization(s).

- Interprets regulations, policies, and directives, and uses good judgment to provide accurate pay setting guidance.

- Assists in updating guidance and procedures on a range of compensation issues and flexibilities.

- Assists employees, supervisors, and HR personnel regarding employee grievances related to pay and leave issues and entitlements.

- Advises management, employees, and union officials (when covered) on work schedules and hours of work requirements and flexibilities including alternative work schedules.

- Provides interpretive guidance on operating procedures or processes for the organization.

- Research eligibility requirements on a broad range of benefits and flexibilities available to employees and provides advice and guidance on enrollments and other requirements.

- Participates with higher-graded specialists in recruitment and staffing functions, including preparing vacancy announcements, determining qualifications of applicants, developing certificates, conducting reference checks, ensuring that required clearances are obtained, making employment offers, determining pay, and processing personnel actions.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 6+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: No

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
