Mechanical aptitude and basic mathematical skills (including decimal/fraction conversions); Read/Use tape measure (standard and metric), level, and square; Use basic hand tools and shop equipment (angle grinder, torch and plasma cutter, band saw and drills); ID steel types (carbon vs stainless); Differentiate between standard and metric on fittings and hardware (nuts, bolts, washers, etc.) including coarse vs fine thread; Under supervision, work to assemble basic and small components and sub-assemblies; Operation of industrial fork truck (w/boom attachments and associated magnets, clamps, slings and chains), hand truck, pallet jack and overhead hoists and cranes; Shipment preparation (cleaning, bracing, crating and loading); 5S housekeeping to clean and maintain equipment and shop areas.

Read and interpret blueprints, specifications and bills of material to work under limited supervision to assemble major components for LS and HS assemblies, Mixer heads, and Vessels; Bearing and Seal installation; Bottom/Side Scrapers; Hydraulic piping and power units; Able to conduct pressure and vacuum testing; Application of ID tags, stickers and labels; Complete all job documentation (travelers, time sheets, inspection forms); Available for local/domestic travel for installs and repairs.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience or training in mechanical assembly or manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Proficient in measurement tools and hand tools.
• Familiarity with operating industrial equipment, including fork trucks and hoists.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
