Position Overview:
Courtesy Chevrolet, a Courtesy Automotive Group dealership, is seeking a Cashier to join our team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, and handling payment transactions. If you have a passion for customer satisfaction, possess skills in processing transitions, generating end-of-day reports, and posting receipts of invoices in software, and have a keen eye for accuracy, we want to hear from you!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Efficiently handle payment transactions, ensuring accuracy and providing the correct change to customers.
  • Utilize computer skills to process transactions, generating end-of-day reports to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Post receipts of invoices in software for accurate inventory management and record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with team members to assist with will call customers, ensuring they receive the products they need promptly and accurately.
  • Answer phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette, addressing customer inquiries and providing helpful information.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to create an inviting professional environment.
  • Work closely with other team members to foster a positive and collaborative work atmosphere.
  • Display a keen attention to detail to avoid errors in transactions and computer operations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience Cashier experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, computer proficiency for processing transactions and generating reports, and a positive attitude.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and team members.
  • Basic math skills to handle transactions and ensure accurate change is given.
  • Computer skills for processing transitions, generating end-of-day reports, and posting receipts of invoices in software.
  • Reliable and flexible with scheduling, as work hours may vary.
  • Demonstrates a focus on attention to detail, striving for excellence in all tasks.
  • Strong team player who can work collaboratively and independently as needed.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check.
