We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor/Custodian to join our team. This position offers part-time morning and evening shifts and is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facility. The ideal candidate will perform routine cleaning tasks and ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, locker rooms, shower area and common areas, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors in offices, hallways, and other designated areas.

Empty trash and recycling bins, replace liners, and properly dispose of waste.

Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and windows.

Restock cleaning and maintenance supplies as needed.

Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and carpet cleaners. 

Monitor and ensure compliance with safety protocols, including the proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.

Respond to urgent cleaning or maintenance requests promptly.

Assist in setting up or breaking down spaces for meetings or events, if necessary.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures.

Physical ability to lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must pass a background check.

Must pass a drug test.

Must have reliable transportation.

Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Reliability and a strong work ethic.

Schedule:

Part-time shifts available:

Morning Shift: 7:30 to 3:30 pm

Evening Shift: 2:00 pm to 8:00pm

Compensation:

Pay rate: $13.00 and up per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
