Janitor Job at Peterson Properties, LLC in Albuquerque

OBJECTIVE: The Janitor will clean, sanitize, and maintain multi-tenant commercial buildings and exterior areas.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout buildings and exterior areas
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchen and dining areas
• Routinely empty trash containers and stock soap, hand sanitizer, toilet paper and paper towels in restrooms
• Clean and sanitize break areas as needed
• Wipe and dust surfaces, clean mirrors, windows and doors
• Vacuum and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes
• Notify supervisor of repairs or when something mechanical is not working properly
• Keep cleaning supplies in stock
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• Detail-oriented and thorough
• Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of building tenants and employees
• Ability to manage time efficiently and work without supervision
• Handle basic maintenance, building repairs, cleaning and other janitorial work
• Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies and use basic cleaning equipment

Physical and Environmental Demands:

• Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds

Education & General Qualifications:

• Basic math skills and the ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English to complete work effectively
• Must have valid driver’s license & current car insurance
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Compensation $21.00 / hr. Health Coverage available
