In the United States, we have a flexible hybrid work policy for employees who live within 30 miles of our office headquartered in New York City and our office in Seattle. We believe our hybrid approach for those near our NYC and Seattle offices increases productivity through more in-person collaboration where possible.
The Department: Office of CEOs
The Office of the CEO plays a vital role in empowering executive leadership by supporting strategic planning, optimizing daily operations, and managing complex calendars to ensure smooth scheduling and prioritization. This team also coordinates high-impact events, from company-wide meetings to industry conferences, and oversees special projects that drive organizational goals and foster innovation. By maintaining seamless communication and organization, the Office of the CEO ensures that leaders are fully equipped to focus on driving the company's vision forward.
The Role: Executive Assistant
The Executive Assistant role reports to the Chief of Staff and plays a key role in our Technology and Product business by managing multiple calendars for executives, streamlining team operations, and ensuring smooth communication across the Technology organization. Acting as a connector among various departments, this role offers an exciting opportunity to learn the inner workings of a crypto startup and help shape company culture. Gemini is looking for someone who is proactive, loves to bring new ideas to the table, and can manage competing priorities in a fast paced startup environment.

The compensation & benefits package for this role includes:
Salary Range: The base salary range for this role is between $66,000 - $83,000 in the State of New York, the State of California and the State of Washington. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate's compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.

Responsibilities:
- Manage calendars simultaneously for technology and product executives
- Coordinate leadership events, team off-sites and conference speaking engagements, as well as any associated travel itineraries/accommodations and venue reservations
- Work closely and well with the broader staff to ensure all relevant calendars are considered and functioning cohesively
- Partner with other upper management, partners, vendors, candidates and other relevant individuals on key initiatives while helping to ensure key executives are following through on important tasks
- Run team meetings, engineering demos, and coordinate team events
- Process business related expenses and draft internal and external correspondences
- Manage complex, changing, and frequent travel arrangements (multi-stage, multi-city, international airfare and accommodation)
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience as an Executive Assistant to high level executives
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Slack
- Extensive experience with complex scheduling, planning and travel logistics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong time management abilities
- Strong administrative writing and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to interact with staff at all levels and maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and humility
- Strong orientation to finding solutions to complex situations
- Proactivity and confidence to work closely with and adapt to the style of executives who travel frequently and lead a fast-paced day-to-day rhythm
- High degree of responsiveness, strong decision making ability, and excellent attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to provide executive support beyond the scope of a typical work day. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain a strong, responsive flow of communication with executives in different time zones, etc.
