Ascend Elements is revolutionizing the production of lithium ion battery materials by establishing a clean and sustainable supply chain using recycled feedstock Its patented Hydro to Cathode technology directly synthesizes new cathode materials from spent lithium ion cells more efficiently than traditional methods resulting in reduced cost improved performance and lowered GHG emissions The results are lower cost better performance batteries with fewer discarded in landfill a cleaner manufacturing process and a truly sustainable closed loop circular battery economy Ascend Elements is taking the lithium ion battery industry to a higher level We are hiring an Executive Assistant who will be responsible for administrative tasks supporting the President and Board Executive in our Covington Georgia facility DutiesResponsibilities Provides day to day administration and coordination of all areas of executive supportProactively manage calendars with the ability to schedule and prioritize meetings resolve schedule conflicts collaborate with other team members and stay several steps ahead to maintain efficiencySchedule and coordinate numerous weekly and ad hoc meetings ensuring that all details are managed and communicated effectively with all partiesHandle all aspects of travel arrangements both international and domestic with the ability to make frequent revisions as necessaryManage business expenses for executives ensuring timely and accurate processingProvide administrative and logistical support for in office events and meetings creating documents arranging catering and providing onsite support as neededAct as a point person for visiting employees vendors and clients as neededMaintain central filing systems and general mailboxesPrepare agendas and schedules for meetings Record and distribute minutes or other records for meetingsPerforms other related duties as assignedEducation and Experience Bachelors degree in Business Administration or other related fieldThree to five years of experience in an administrative roleRequired SkillsAbilities Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrityExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to function well in a high paced environment effectively multitasking and managing competing prioritiesAbility to work independentlyPhysical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times Ascend Elements is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion sex national origin disability status protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law
