You are an experienced and loyal EA. You understand the value of being a part of a successful team. You are determined to complete projects and do not relax until a job is 100% complete. You are a good writer, critical thinker and comfortable in speadsheets. You are both interested in and concerned about AI. You are comfortable reading Shakespeare as well as insurance policies. You are not prone to complain but are comfortable offering critique when it is helpful and appropriate to do so. You are generous to your colleagues and expect the same from them in return. You are excited about the possibility of supporting a law professor and father of four who is also a real estate professional (Wilshire Skyline) and the founder of a new law firm (Finch & Hammer LLP).
Your responsibilities:
● Masterfully organize the Partner’s professional and personal calendar and events.
● Prepare “look ahead” notes for meetings carefully.
● Thoughtfully purchase and mail gifts as needed.
● Run personal errands efficiently (e.g., coordinate household maintenance).
● Coordinate events with attention to detail.
● Communicate after-hours with Partner when traveling or for important issues.
● Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
● Provide support in any capacity as necessary.
● Research and draft market reports.
● Manage Asana tasks and projects.
● Draft email and other communications on behalf of Partner for his review.
● Prepare regular investor updates including emails and reports.
● Prepare potential investor decks and other marketing materials.
● Update lecture presentations.
● Summarize due diligence documents as needed.
● Learn new software with efficiency as needed.
Your Experience:
● Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred.
● A minimum of five (10) years of personal assistant experience required (experience at a travel agency or with high-net-worth individuals a plus).
● Bookkeeping experience a plus.
● Fluency with Google Suites and Microsoft Office.
Interface:
● You will be working with and directly reporting to the Partner.
● You will work closely with and report directly to the Partner. In our small but growing office of under 15 employees, everyone is expected to support each other graciously.
