Robert Half is looking for an accounting manager for a growing Cincinnati based company. The accounting manager is responsible for the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries, bank and cash reconciliations and financial statement preparation. Essential Functions

1.Will coordinate, supervise, and complete the month and year end close

2.General Ledger ownership

3.Manage AR, AP, cash application

4.Fixed Assets – CIP to Disposal life cycle

5.Responsible for non-income tax reporting e.g. Sales & Use Tax and Ohio CAT

6.Monthly cash reconciliations

7.Maintain, update, and develop internal controls

8.Assure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary.
• Must be familiar with BlackLine and Concur.
• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required.
• Solid understanding and execution of Accounting Functions.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must.
• Prior experience in Auditing is essential.
• Ability to handle Billing Functions effectively.
• Experience in Month End Close activities.
• Familiarity with Month-end Close Activities is necessary.
• Knowledge of Month-end Financial processes is required.
• Ability to prepare Month-end Journal Entries.
• Experience in Monthly Account Reconciliation.
• Ability to handle Monthly Accruals effectively.
