Responsibilities

• Leading the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

• Supervising the preparation and review of monthly financial statements, ensuring they adhere to GAAP.

• Coordinating the year-end audit process with external auditors, preparing necessary documentation and resolving queries.

• Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Analyzing financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Collaborating with operations and production teams to support cost accounting activities.

• Providing financial insights and actionable recommendations to optimize financial performance.

• Mentoring accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

• Proficiency in accounting functions is necessary for the role
• Demonstrated experience in auditing is required
• Ability to conduct thorough audit procedures
