Job Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist based in Sanford, Florida. In this role, you will be tasked with a variety of accounting and financial tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, as well as participating in audits and financial projects.
Responsibilities:
• Daily processing of accounts receivable invoices.
• Assure the accurate and timely disbursement of accounts payable payments.
• Regularly monitor accounts receivable reports and perform reconciliation tasks.
• Oversee the accounts receivable inbox for efficient communication and prompt response.
• Participate in internal and external audits to confirm compliance with accounting standards.
• Review and manage Sales and Use Tax matters.
• Engage in various financial projects and analysis as needed.
• Assist in maintaining accurate financial data and attention to detail is crucial.
• 3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP).
• Proven ability to handle Accounts Receivable (AR) effectively.
• Strong skills in auditing, with the ability to identify discrepancies and solve issues promptly.
• Competence in performing billing functions, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
