We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to join our team located in Edwardsville, Kansas, United States. This role revolves around managing customer transactions, maintaining financial records, and ensuring smooth office operations in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the accuracy of collected checks and cash from customers and match them with the corresponding invoices.
• Keep track of invoices signed out by Sales and ensure all money is accounted for, initiating friendly reminders via email or phone call if necessary.
• Assist Accounts Receivable in applying payments.
• Serve as the first point of contact for the public, maintaining a friendly and welcoming disposition.
• Utilize SAP for various accounting functions, while maintaining its knowledge base.
• Leverage Microsoft Excel and 10 key skills for handling office functions.
• Handle receptionist duties and manage customer service inquiries.
• Process checks and manage cash activities.
• Use templates and video tools where necessary to streamline processes.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office functions
• Experience with accounting functions and principles
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA software
• Ability to perform receptionist duties when needed
• Experience in handling cash activity and payment processing
• Familiarity with invoice processing and check processing
• Strong customer service and sales skills
• Capability to work onsite as required
• Familiarity with using templates for various tasks
• Proficiency in 10-key skills for data entry
• Experience with video conferencing tools for communication
