We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to join our team, based in Leominster, Massachusetts. This role will involve handling various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including payroll, tax administration, and data entry. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity, ideal for those who are adept at working in a fast-paced finance environment.


Responsibilities:


• Assisting with weekly and bi-weekly tax uploads

• Collaborating closely with the VP of finance

• Handling payroll tax filings for multiple states

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records

• Processing customer credit applications efficiently

• Performing bookkeeping entries and entering in deductions

• Utilizing software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for various tasks

• Working with Mastertax and Prism for data extraction

• Managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Overseeing invoice processing and account reconciliation.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Solid experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proven ability to manage Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Billing procedures and operations
• Skilled in Data Entry tasks
• Experience in Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Payroll management
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software
