Job Description
Job Title: Accounting Analyst
Location: SE Portland, OR
Hours: Fully Onsite, Temp to Hire, Full Time
Compensation: $28 - $33 an hour DOE
Role Overview:
This role involves managing daily bookkeeping, overseeing financial statements, and preparing analytical reports. The Accounting Analyst will play an active role in financial forecasting, assist in identifying potential areas for expense control, and collaborate closely with project leads to anticipate and plan for potential project impacts. The role also includes proactively following up with teams to ensure timely responses and proper planning for upcoming weeks and months, ensuring project teams are adequately preparing for future financial and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and flag areas that require planning.
Prepare financial statements and analytical reports.
Monitor the budget, track costs and net revenue, and present clear recommendations to the leadership team.
Provide updates in leadership meetings, discuss pipelines, and identify gaps.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience of any accounting or financial type position.
Experience in a fast-paced working environment is preferred.
Strong client interaction experience is highly preferred.
Proactive in staying on top of tasks and comfortably reminding others to do the same.
