We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Campbellsville, Kentucky. This role entails managing the daily operations of our accounting department, streamlining accounting processes, and developing reporting standards. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting and efficient use of resources.
Responsibilities
• Manage daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
• Analyze accounting processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes
• Develop and enforce accounting policies and principles in line with ISO 14001 and ISO/TS 16949 standards
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
• Participate in audits, ensuring company compliance with US GAAP
• Oversee the resolution of reconciliation errors, ensuring timely and effective communication with relevant stakeholders
• Develop and present financial reports to management, supporting informed decision-making
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers to establish beneficial relationships and cost-effective services
• Implement training activities to enhance the knowledge and skills of the accounting team
• Coordinate the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Knowledge of Cost Accounting is desirable
• Expertise in Manufacturing Cost Accounting is preferred.
• Competence in Inventory Accounting is required.
• Ability to handle Month End Close tasks is essential.
• Experience in Full Cycle Accounting is necessary.
• Proven skills in Accounting management are required.
