We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in the service / entertainment industry, based in San Dimas, California. This role involves hands-on management, effective communication, and the use of accounting software systems, along with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the accounting team, fostering an environment that encourages independence and growth.

• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools to streamline operations.

• Supervise Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring efficient and accurate processing.

• Prepare and present financial statements and reports, providing clear and accurate financial insights.

• Conduct financial reporting and analysis, delivering ad hoc reports for board meetings.

• Manage the General Ledger (GL) and oversee month-end close processes.

• Prepare for board meetings, providing regular financial updates and reports.

• Handle multistate sales and use tax operations, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

• Oversee billing functions, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.

• Drive financial preparations, ensuring all financial operations are prepared for audits and reviews.

• A minimum of 3+ years' experience in a similar role as Accounting Manager/Supervisor

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Prior experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required

• Demonstrated ability in managing Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is imperative

• Familiarity with Billing Functions is necessary

• Proven track record in Financial Statement Preparation and interpretation of Financial Statements

• Experience with Dynamics NAV is a plus

• Expertise in managing end-of-month close procedures is essential
