Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Job Type: Contract (2-3 months), 100% Onsite

Pay Rate: $20-$23 per hour

Job Description:

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking for an exciting short-term opportunity? Our client in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their team! This is a fantastic contract position for 2-3 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs. You'll play a crucial role in managing their financial records and ensuring the accuracy of their accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dive into daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare insightful financial reports and statements.
  • Maintain meticulous and organized financial records.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Support audits and provide necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
