and sending us your resume.Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per yearA bit about us:Our client manufactures implantable shock absorbers for the knee.Why join us?Growing companyTop benefits Great cultureJob DetailsThe Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day responsibilities of our general accounting function, including oversight of all US domestic & international intercompany transactions and accounts receivable related activities. The main duties include maintaining updated and accurate financial records; supervising the accounting staff; training staff, peers, and other employees; improving efficiencies; and managing excellent standards of accuracy and timeliness. The Accounting Manager will identify areas of potential improvement and growth and assist in the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with US-GAAP and Moximed policies. The role will challenge you to expand ASC606 experience, adapt to a rapidly changing environment, assess the financial statement positions, and demonstrate critical thinking skillset through the implementation of controls and analysis. B. ResponsibilitiesPrepare financial statements and disclosures in conformance to US-GAAPCoordinate month-end and year-end close activities (i.e. journal vouchers, account reconciliations, commissions calculations, intercompany transactions)Develop and implement financial policies and proceduresAssist with implementation and frequent utilization of ERP systemAdminister company credit card programOversee quarterly/annual statutory requirements (property tax filings, tax payments, etc.)Maintain effective processes and procedures to ensure accurate accounting & safeguarding of assetsProvide monthly variance analysis and ad hoc reportingOrganize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records (i.e. department spending, KPI's, cash flow forecast)Manage and coach general accounting staff with focus on professional and group success Direct efforts in developing, implementing, and maintaining systems, procedures and policies for the group and the companyLeverages system and technology knowledge to drive simplification effortWork with Sales and Operations groups regarding various financial transaction activitiesAssist in annual audit activitiesJOB REQUIREMENTS:A. Education and TrainingBS degree in accounting or financeAccounting certification (e.g. CPA) B. Technical RequirementsStrong knowledge of US-GAAPKnowledge of accounting systems and reporting toolsStrong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts, and using advanced formulas)Experience in preparing financial statementsAbility to “roll up the sleeves” when necessary to accomplish a goalAttention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills C.
