Trueline's client, a forward-thinking financial services firm, is seeking an accounting manager to join their team in a remote position. This role offers the chance to work with innovative, high-growth companies, providing essential accounting and financial leadership.

What You'll Do as the Accounting Manager:

  • Oversee accounting operations for multiple high-growth clients across diverse sectors
  • Lead client consultations and offer strategic financial advice tailored to scaling businesses
  • Create and optimize accounting workflows to ensure top-tier service delivery
  • Navigate complex financial tasks including revenue management and asset valuation
  • Generate timely and accurate financial reports while managing tight month-end deadlines
  • Work collaboratively with a remote team of finance professionals in a dynamic environment
You'll Succeed as the Financial Controller if you Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a finance-related field
  • 5-10 years of accounting experience, with track record of managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Significant experience in a start-up, public accounting or high growth companies (huge plus)
  • Strongly preferred: Background in biotech, healthcare or related industry
  • In-depth understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting standards
  • Familiarity with tax incentives, grant accounting, and specialized cost management
  • Proficiency in cloud-based accounting platforms and enterprise software
  • Strong interpersonal skills for client management and team collaboration
  • Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
  • Broad industry knowledge with specialized expertise in key areas
  • Proven ability to excel under pressure in fast-paced environments
  • An inquisitive nature and analytical approach to problem-solving
