Location: Concord, CA
Pay Range: $42–$55/ hour DOE
Part-Time, Onsite
Hours: 5 hours/day, starting between 7:30-8:00 AM

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of accounting records and financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
  • Lead financial and project accounting tasks during monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • Manage external audits, including Commercial General Liability (CGL), Workers’ Compensation, and union audits (approximately 4–5 per year).
  • Supervise payroll (PR), accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and billing activities.
  • Collaborate with external consultants to ensure compliance and improve workflows.
  • Act as a resource for union payroll oversight and reporting.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
  • Strong construction accounting background with union payroll experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Foundation for Construction experience a plus)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong business acumen and prioritization abilities
