Salary:
CoreCard Corporation is looking for an Accounting Manager to work with multinational companies. This is a highly visible position reporting to the Chief Financial Officer while working closely with Staff and Senior Accountants, and subsidiary management to provide timely and accurate accounting support, maintain adequate internal controls, and ensure general ledger and financial reporting integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions and appropriate coding.
- Lead a small team in completing monthly corporate accounting and close activities, including reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, roll-forwards, and other analyses related to revenue recognition, consolidations, and other significant accounting matters.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly accounting, reporting, and ad hoc analyses for senior management.
- Provide management teams with appropriate information to facilitate budget, forecast, and other reporting needs.
- Assist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of internal controls and accounting policies to promote effective governance and accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in ERP implementation.
- Conduct special projects as assigned by the CFO.
- Assist with the coordination of external audit activities and audit preparation as necessary.
- Prepare monthly profit and loss and balance sheet reports, and accompanying schedules, worksheets, and narratives, including variance reports. Provide follow-up and documentation of significant variances.
- Assist in documentation of policies, procedures, and monitoring of internal controls.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Manage and oversee fixed assets process, including capitalization and approval process.
- Assist CFO with contract administration support as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in accounting
- Active CPA license preferred
- 5+ years of progressive responsibility, including at least 2 years of supervisory or management experience
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
