Accounting Internship
We are seeking an Accounting Intern to join our corporate accounting team. If you are a driven

The Accounting Intern is responsible for supporting a variety of accounting functions such as
reviewing and analyzing reports, collecting and organizing documents, identifying key
information, filing, and assisting with the administrative aspects of the month-end close.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Gather and organize documents about the month-end close process.
Review and highlight documents to identify key information for accounting.
Effectively verify data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering as necessary.
Assist staff with administrative duties as requested.
Assist with the analysis and/or completion of necessary reports as requested.
Ensure accurate data entry and resolve any discrepancies in line with company policy and
procedure.
Communicate effectively with the supervisor to report progress or any issues with
assigned tasks.
Other duties as assigned by Management.
Work Schedule:
This is a part-time internship with an average of 20-25 hours per week. Hours can be flexible,
but must fall within standard operating hours (i.e. 8:30 am - 4:30 pm) and must be discussed with
and approved by Management in advance. Further, this internship requires the student to be
available to work on the first Saturday of each month.
Required Qualifications:
Must be a Junior or Senior pursuing an Accounting or related degree.
Must be computer literate with an in-depth understanding of Microsoft Office Suite,
namely Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must be able to review and/or compile data spreadsheets in an efficient and effective
manner.
Extremely strong attention to detail is essential for this role.
Effective and professional communication skills in both verbal and written format.
Must be able to work independently on assigned tasks with minimal follow-up from
supervisors.
Must be deadline-driven, self-motivated, and able to follow through with assigned tasks.
