Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with all departments (AP, AR, Payroll, IT).
- Reconcile bank account transactions on a weekly basis and process necessary adjusting entries.
- Review and process bank transfers to ensure accurate and appropriate booking.
- Audit and reconcile deposits made by the Business Manager and prepare weekly reports for ownership.
- Collaborate with District Managers weekly to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Review and reconcile credit card transactions on a weekly basis and ensure timely payments.
- Work with team members to compile and deliver financial reports for senior management.
- Process chargebacks through the merchant portal and coordinate with Business Managers to track and resolve issues.
- Prepare adjusting entries for departmental items and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage month-end accruals, including payroll, revenue, expenses, and income adjustments.
- Maintain accurate and organized records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts, and inventory-related information.
- Assist the Accounting Supervisor with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent certification in accounting or a related field.
- 2–5 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills; experience with AS400 is a plus.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
