Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, preparing financial statements and reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The Accounting Manager will also supervise a team of accounting professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial data.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations within the accounting department, including accounts payable, daily income journals, general ledger, and fixed assets.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Analyze financial data and provide guidance and recommendations to senior management on financial matters and strategies.
  • Oversee the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
  • Manage the annual audit process and work with auditors to ensure compliance with auditing standards.
  • Supervise and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing training, guidance, and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • CPA designation preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000/year
