Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, preparing financial statements and reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The Accounting Manager will also supervise a team of accounting professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial data.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations within the accounting department, including accounts payable, daily income journals, general ledger, and fixed assets.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Analyze financial data and provide guidance and recommendations to senior management on financial matters and strategies.
- Oversee the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
- Manage the annual audit process and work with auditors to ensure compliance with auditing standards.
- Supervise and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing training, guidance, and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- CPA designation preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000/year
