Hours vary between 7 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday
Substitute position - On call basis when needed
Must pass Secretary/Clerical examination: Exam will be administered - Date To Be Determined. Location - 1717 W Merced Ave., West Covina 91790.
You will be notified of your test date.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform a variety of responsible and technical clerical and typing work in support of a school site or District supervisor.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school including or supplemented by related business courses and three years increasingly responsible clerical experience including public contact. Must pass the District Secretary/Clerical examination. To attach the necessary documents, you must select the "Upload New File" button on page 6 and 7 and follow the subsequent instructions.
District Policy #4442: "Substitute and short term employees shall not be eligible for paid holidays nor shall they be eligible to participate in District health, dental, or other insurance programs."

Upon being recommended for employment and prior to formal Board of Education approval, the following pre-employment steps must be completed as required by District policy and State and Federal law:
•A Mantoux Tuberculin Test within 60 days of hire date
•Drug Screening by District approved facility
•Fingerprint Clearance
•Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Certification

- Injury and Illness Prevention Training
- Anti Harassment Training
- Cyber Security Training
