Position Summary: A cybersecurity analyst is a trained and experienced cybersecurity professional who specializes in network, endpoints, applications, and IT infrastructure security. Theirduty is to monitor events and alerts of the manifestation of cyberattacks, malware, and the behavior of cybercriminals, actively seeks to analyze and triage security alerts and events, mitigate, remediate, anticipate, and prevent cybersecurity attacks and other malicious activities. The Cybersecurity Analyst is to maintain cybersecurity infrastructure and set of tools and euchologies to ensure the most effective and efficient use and application. Duties Cybersecurity tools events and alerts monitoring, incident recognition and incident response Troubleshoot and resolve problems with cybersecurity infrastructure, tools and technologies configurations and deployment Provide escalation support from the Service Desk on issues caused by Cybersecurity tools and security restrictions Maintain documentation: create and update IT Knowledge Base The Skills, Abilities, and Experience Needed: Required: Associates Degree or Vocational/Technical Degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or other relevant major 3 years of relevant work experience Cybersecurity tools events monitoring, incident recognition and incident response Experience troubleshooting and resolvingproblems with cybersecurity tools configurations and deployment. Experience providing desktops, servers, applications, and network support Knowledge of identity and Access management Preferred: Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions, preferably using CrowdStrike Falcon technology Experience with Zero Trust architecture, preferably utilizing Zscaler technology Experience with E-mail security STERIS is a leading global provider of products and services that support patient care with an emphasis on infection prevention.
