Description: What We're Doing

Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.

The Work

In this vital role, you will be:

Supporting the Cyber A&A team and expected to work closely with C2BMC Operational ISSOs in direct support of the Operational eMASS packages managed by the A&A team. Working closely with System owners, Cyber peers, Program Office technical/management staff, and other C2BMC Functional Areas to ensure the C2BMC fielded system attains and maintains appropriate Authorization for Connection, Test, and Operational purposes. Rotating and blending technical documentation, surge support for authorization packages in eMASS, assessing vulnerabilities, engineering responses for system POA&Ms, proposal support, and conducting risk analysis for Risk Acceptance Requests (RARs).

Please Note:

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.

The role will involve approximately 10% travel to customer sites throughout the U.S.

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelors degree with 2 years professional experience or Masters degree and no professional experience or 5+ years professional related experience.

- Active DoD Security Clearance

- DoDI 8570 certification IAT - Level II (e.g., Sec+ or Higher)

- A strong working knowledge of Cyber capabilities such as patch management, multi-factor authentication, host-based security, intrusion detection, security event management, active/passive system scanning, and defense-in-depth.

- Recent experience and familiarity with creating/updating Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages for RMF Authority to Operate (ATOs) is required.

Desired Skills:

Security engineering skills with a working knowledge of Information Assurance (IA) technology, NIST standards, DoDI 8500.2, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) Security Controls.

The successful candidate must have experience in the Agile Development Lifecycle to include generating requirements, architecture design, configuring Cyber audit tools, conducting verification, and performing Cyber vulnerability, and Cyber configuration activities.

Leadership experience and effective interpersonal skills are required with a demonstrated ability to support complex organizational relationships. Excellent technical document preparation and verbal communication skills are required for presentation of technical Cyber issues and reports to the Government, Program Management, and other C2BMC Functional Areas.

Recent hands-on experience with Agile execution, tools, and methodologies is highly preferred.

Application experience hardening Windows and Linux servers and workstations in accordance with GPOs, IAVMs, and STIGs is desired. Network design and software engineering backgrounds are a plus.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $76,600 - $146,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
