SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Cybersecurity Validator.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Summary: SEACORPsupports the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport, RI and is seekingqualified validators to conduct Risk Management Framework (RMF) SecurityAssessment execution in support of many programs. NavyQualified Validators will perform Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessmentand Authorization (A&A) activities including but not limited to:

  • DevelopingSecurity Assessment Report (SAP), Security Assessment Report (SAR) ExecutiveSummary, and supporting teams to assess security controls, identify weaknesses,recommend mitigations, and track remediation activities in Plan of Action and Milestones(POA&Ms).
  • Contributeto the security team in planning, assessment, risk analysis, and production ofRMF artifacts that lead up to obtaining an authority to operate. This includesperforming ACAS Scans, STIGs testing and conduct of site visits.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical discipline.

Experience:
  • Current Navy Qualified Validator highly desired.
  • Hold Industry Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CASP+) toqualify as DOD 8750 IAT II/III / IAM III -or- DOD 8140 Specialty Area(s) is required.
  • eMASS, XACTA and ACAS training and experience is required.
  • Knowledge of Linux is required.
  • Knowledge of Web Server is desired.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of DoD Risk ManagementFramework (RMF) and NIST SP 800-53.
  • Knowledge of system and application security threats andvulnerabilities.
  • Experienced in recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to conduct Security Assessment using DISA STIGs andSRGs.
  • Ability to utilizeAssured Compliance Assessment System(ACAS) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP).
  • Experience in workflows using Enterprise Mission AssuranceSupport Service (eMASS) and XACTA.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Security Assessment Plan (SAP) and Security Assessment Report (SAR).
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship

Location:Newport, RI

Travel:Infrequently (<3 annually)

Clearance:Secret

Work Environment & Physical Demands:Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens.Infrequent lifting of <40lbs.Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
