Job Summary
The Director of Cybersecurity Operations is responsible for overseeing the cybersecurity operations program, including both defensive and offensive functions. This role involves monitoring, threat mitigation, incident response capabilities, and the is a key contributor to the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader who can manage a team of cybersecurity professionals and ensure the protection of NetApp's digital assets from cyberattacks.
Key Responsibilities:
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. a Master's degree is preferred.
Preferred Certifications:
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 213,210 - 299,640 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader who can manage a team of cybersecurity professionals and ensure the protection of NetApp's digital assets from cyberattacks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the cybersecurity operations program, including monitoring, threat mitigation, and incident response capabilities.
- Mature capabilities of the 24x365 SOC (Security Operations Center)
- Lead and manage both defensive and offensive cybersecurity operations, including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and threat hunting.
- Manage and grow a team of cybersecurity professionals, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and effectively working together.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure cybersecurity measures are integrated into all aspects of the company's operations.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
- Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to ensure the company's defenses are current and effective.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including vendors, government agencies, and industry groups, to enhance the company's cybersecurity posture.
- At least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 5 years in a security operations center leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Experience with incident response, threat mitigation, and security monitoring tools and technologies.
- Proven experience in both defensive and offensive cybersecurity operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
