Essential Duties of the Cybersecurity Support Engineer:
- Provide systems engineering expertise in the design, integration, operation, and maintenance of cybersecurity infrastructure and capabilities.
- Utilize defense-in-depth strategies and methods to harden systems and networks (e.g. blocking/filtering, IDS/IPS, A/V, logical separation of management traffic, content detonation and automated analysis, and DISA SRG/STIG compliance).
- Maintain the establishment of infrastructure services supporting cybersecurity environments such as directory services in support of authentication, networking monitoring services, domain name services, virtual hosting infrastructure, etc.
- Penetration testing with red team and blue team.
- 5+ years of experience with Linux
- 3+ years of experience with IDS, IPS, and host based security solutions
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
- Must of Security+ certification
- Linux+, CASP, and CEH are highly preferred certifications
- $170,000 - $190,000 (based on experience)
