They manage vulnerabilities and risk and support the execution of our cybersecurity strategy. They manage vulnerabilities and risk and support the execution of our cybersecurity strategy. Digital Power is looking for a Cybersecurity Advisor to be part of the Global Cybersecurity Chapter who will also act as a Security Architect - specifying security controls and requirements.
What do you get to do in this position?
- Specify and support implementation of appropriate security controls for our offers in alignment with relevant internal and external standards
- Promote consistency and integration at system level
- Facilitate relevant SDL practices such as threat modeling
- Ensure that all work items in the scope of the line of business have sufficient security support and review
- Analyze and respond to reported issues
- Monitor threats and support early detection of issues
- Identify and communicate cybersecurity risks
- Support product teams with security best practices for design
- Lead and coordinate cybersecurity-related initiates within the line of business
- Support cybersecurity-related certifications and advise on regulatory compliance
- Form a network of experts inside and outside the line of business to engage as necessary on technical reviews, risk management and customer topics
- Represent the cybersecurity chapter and line of business on working groups, committees
- Understand Schneider's SDL, define and support execution at the right level for each offer, program, and project
- Be capable of evaluating threats and vulnerabilities on offers
- Understand the security capabilities of existing offers and systems and prescribe appropriate controls for new development
- Occasional travel support non-local sites, participate in working groups, and engage directly with customers and partners as needed
- Responsiveness after normal business hours for urgent topics and availability to take meetings outside of local business hours to meet with global team
