We are currently seeking experienced Banquet Servers to join our team. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing efficient, courteous, and professional service to guests during events and functions hosted at our venue. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that guests have a memorable experience by delivering high-quality service and attending to their needs throughout the event.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and other decorations.
  • Greet guests upon arrival and assist them with seating arrangements.
  • Take orders and serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, following established service standards.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to any requests or special requirements.
  • Ensure that all food and beverages are presented and served in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the banquet area throughout the event.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to coordinate food and beverage service efficiently.
  • Clear tables and clean banquet rooms after events, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly stored.
  • Provide assistance to guests with disabilities or special needs, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, including adhering to dress code and grooming standards.

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar role in the hospitality industry preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift/carry trays and equipment as needed.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Working Conditions/Environment

  • The person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight (8) hours per day.
  • Agility in executing fast-paced movements to navigate different areas of the property efficiently.
  • The person having this responsibility may have to move, pull, carry, or lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds.
