The Pool Server will be responsible for providing food and beverage service to guests at the pool area, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be attentive to guests’ needs, and thrive in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests promptly and courteously, and provide menus and information about daily specials.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring that all orders are correct and presented attractively.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area, including clearing tables, disposing of trash, and restocking supplies.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the pool area before and after service.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, and follow proper cash handling procedures.
• Promote and upsell menu items, specials, and events to enhance guest experience and drive sales.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests.

Required Experience:

• 1 year experience as a server in a high-volume, fast-paced environment; poolside or restaurant experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine, spirits, and cocktails.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong reputation for teamwork, dedication to excellence, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and multitask.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Experience in private clubs or country clubs is a plus.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Working Conditions/Environment

• The person in this position will be required to work outdoors, exposed to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and wind.

• The person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight (8) hours per day.
• Agility in executing fast-paced movements to navigate different areas of the property efficiently.
• The person having this responsibility may have to move, pull, carry, or lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds.
