Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a Front of House position.
Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills to external and internal guests by displaying Spotlight on Service behaviors. Maintains upbeat, positive attitude, friendly and helpful demeanor, positive energy and enthusiasm from one interaction to the next. Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates customer wins. Is ready to serve and well informed of daily facility hours of operation, promotional programs and any other relevant valuable guest information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting. Anticipates needs of the guest and provides fast, flawless service. Executes all service programs to assure prioritization of service to very best guests. Checks for satisfaction and elevates situations to a supervisor when necessary. Promotes Total Rewards programs and Total Rewards registration and membership. Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting. Promotes Harrah's and always projects Harrah's in a positive light to guests.
Understands, anticipates and responds to internal customers needs. Communicates in a friendly, respectful and professional manner. Politely gives consistent, timely and accurate information to guests and finds answer when unsure. Meets expected service delivery times as defined by department's service standards or as required by receiver of service or goods. Is a team player, cooperates with employees within the department as well as other departments. Speaks positively about the company, co-workers and customers.
Requirements:
Is able to work in smoke filled environment, and is able to stand for prolonged periods of time.

- Responsible for delivering cooked foods to the guests and assisting food server as needed.
- Replenishes table condiments and clears tables as needed throughout the food outlet.
- Maintains sufficient amounts of condiments in side station.
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment and follows sanitation procedures as instructed by the Delaware County health department.
- Consistently follows through with the appropriate actions when asked to complete projects or tasks.
- Prepares for a rush period of work with-out getting behind.
- Performs related duties request or otherwise required.
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
- Conducts self in an appropriate professional manner at all times.
Requirements:
Is able to work in smoke filled environment, and is able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
Physical/Mental Demands:
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and stack.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be fluent and literate in English.
- Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when required.
- Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality.
