About the Role Manage all aspects of the Retail Branch including financial performance, customer satisfaction, and adherence to all regulatory and operation policies and procedures. Develop and implement an annual plan and strategies to increase branch profit, growth, and customer retention, Commit to active involvement in local community organizations. Provide leadership to Branch staff in the execution of branch growth plan. What You Will Do Develop and implement growth plans and strategies to achieve sales, productivity, financial growth, customer service, and community goals in conjunction with Regional management. Provide leadership to branch staff in the successful execution of defined branch goals. Coach and counsel platform staff on effective sales techniques to develop new customer relationships and enhance existing customer relationships. Develop and coach teller staff in customer service and effective referral skills. Apply a thorough knowledge of the Bank's products and services to the development and enhancement of customer relationships. Partner across business lines to ensure a cohesive market plan to enhance cross-selling of Bank products and services to banking customers. Actively market Bank products and services to the community; proactively call on existing and prospective clients to develop new business and to retain or expand existing business. Ensure standard operating and security procedures are being followed, adhering to policy and banking regulations, and provide guidance in training of branch staff on operating problems, exceptions, and adjustments. Develop and maintain active involvement in the community through participation, and/or Board and/or committee memberships. Provide personalized banking services to current and prospective customers, consistently seeking to expand customer relationships and provide the highest level quality customer service. Manage branch budget in accordance with company guidelines. Recruit, hire, develop, coach, and review performance with appropriate follow-up, on all direct reports. Analyzes, prepares, and completes all required daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports. Travel throughout the company footprint as required. Ensures compliance with all regulations governing the banking industry, as well as employment and labor laws, agency guidelines and organization policies. Manages the compliance requirements for the Retail Branch to ensure files are maintained in accordance with regulations. Ensures that all staff members meet compliance and disclosure requirements and are cross trained in all. Requirements What We Expect of You Proven ability to build and retain an effective team and develop, coach, and manage a staff. Demonstrated success in a retail sales environment. Extensive working knowledge of Branch operations, sales, investment referrals, banking regulations, business development, and thorough understanding of the consumer and small business lending process. Expertise interfacing with multiple departments and personnel at various levels. Demonstrated excellent written, verbal communication, listening, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Demonstrated capability in banking software and Microsoft Office applications. Your Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience; additional coursework in banking is preferred. Valid NMLS Registration required. Level III 8 years of branch banking experience with a minimum 5 years of branch management experience. Responsibility for branch typically more than $100 million in size or proven results in growing branch deposits and typically assigned to high growth potential locations. Board membership in a community organization Working Conditions/Physical Requirements Office environment. Ability to travel throughout the company footprint. Ability to communicate in order to exchange simple to complex information to individuals and groups. Ability to navigate throughout the branch to facilitate customer requests and meet operational standards. Ability to operate a computer, phone and operationally essential equipment as required.
