Group: Land Surveying

Position: Senior Survey CAD Technician

Location: Indianapolis, IN (Will consider Ohio candidates, but role will primarily serve Indianapolis.)

Our team of 40+ professionals have access to latest tools such as, GPS, robotic, UAV technology, terrestrial scanning and hydrographic surveying equipment. Our Land Surveying team does it all, from ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, to topographic and boundary surveys, to hydrographic, transportation (bridge and road) and utility route surveys, to right-of-way services and construction staking.

Responsibilities:

• Process field data into topographic surveys and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.
• Preparation of exhibits and subdivision plats
• Assist with the layout of property and easement descriptions.
• Download LiDAR, aerial photography and other GIS data from public domain sites.
• Preparation of Location Control Route Survey Plats (a plus but not required)

Qualifications:

• Fluent in Civil3D (current versions)
• Fluent in Autodesk AutoCAD (current versions)
• Microstation, TopoDOT, and Point Cloud extraction experience a plus
• 5-10 years experience
• Knowledge of other related software (Trimble Business Center, GIS, etc)
• Experience with scanning or other non-traditional surveying technologies
