Job Description

We are seeking an Office Assistant to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions to keep our firm running smoothly. This is a full time in person position.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft correspondences and other formal documents on behalf of Attorneys
  • Schedule appointments and calls with clients, attorneys and Courts
  • Greet and assist onsite guests or clients
  • Answer and route inbound telephone calls
  • Open and close client matters within our practice management software
  • Maintain our organized filing systems both physically and electronically
  • Sort, scan and deliver incoming mail and packages, prepare and post outgoing mail
  • Proofreading and document editing
  • Perform additional office/admin tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in office administration or other related fields preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • ​Strong organizational skills
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Basic working knowledge of standard office equipment
  • HS diploma or equivalent required, Advance course work preferred
