Exciting opportunity to join the Doubletree by Hilton Fort Worth South Hotel & Conference Center as the Restaurant Manager for our Smoke and Barrell Restaurant.

As restaurant general manager, you are responsible for creating a plan that maximizes our financial and operational goals. You will be able to recruit, hire, and train a staff who is passionate about delivering great customer service. The general manager needs to ensure that the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations. Our ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience managing a restaurant or similar role in the customer service industry. If this describes you, please start your application right away!

Responsibilities

•Build restaurant staff through recruiting, interviewing, and training food service professionals
•Maintain food and dining product inventories and make precise projections about future sales trends
•Aim to provide the best possible dining experience for all of our customers
•Examine each product and service for quality in accordance with the standards set by the company
•Create a comprehensive plan for the restaurant that considers the market, local competitors, sales revenue and expenses

Qualifications

•This position requires 2-3 years of previous experience managing a staff or relevant role, ideally in the restaurant industry
•Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED
•Must have previous experience in food service managing food inventory levels, operating costs, and budgets
•Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills
•Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, strongly desired
