Job Description
Job Title: Production Assistant - Sports Marketing & Content Production
Location: Bristol, CT (Hybrid - Onsite Monday-Thursday, Remote Friday)
Pay: $31 - $36 / hour
W2 Contract duration: 24 months (Contract to hire)
Overview:
We are seeking dynamic Production Assistants to support a wide range of sports marketing and content production projects. This role will involve a mix of internal production tasks (such as sourcing footage/audio and managing editing sessions for marketing campaigns), backend processing work (such as vendor administration and invoicing), and supporting live-action productions (including coordinating talent travel and logistics). Candidates with a passion for marketing, content production, and sports media will thrive in this collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the creation and promotion of marketing content across various platforms, including digital, social media, and new media formats.
- Manage multiple projects, collaborating seamlessly with creatives, editors, and production teams.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure unified messaging and branding in all content.
- Oversee production budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of all projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with external production companies, agencies, and vendors.
- Stay updated on content production trends and technologies to enhance team efficiency.
- Strategically plan calendars and production schedules, balancing both long-term initiatives and quick-turn projects.
- Ensure all marketing and content productions maintain high creative standards and align with company values.
- Manage clip-based projects, handle footage, and oversee the formatting and tracking of all deliverables.
- Write marketing copy and scripts, allowing time for stakeholder feedback.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in marketing production, preferably in sports, entertainment, or related fields.
- Bilingual - Spanish & English
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, adept at building relationships across diverse teams.
- Proficiency in production and editing software, with a good grasp of emerging technologies and platforms.
- Solid understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing strategies.
- Skilled at working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Passion for storytelling and deep knowledge of the sports industry.
- A portfolio showcasing successful marketing campaigns and productions.
- Technical background in Adobe Suite, Premiere (Preferred).
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (Onsite Monday-Thursday, Remote on Friday)
Hours: 9 am-6 pm EST
