The Production Specialist will be operating the Lighting Board and will work together with the Lighting Director and input information for the lighting console programming.
• Assist LD with assigning fixture numbers and LED addresses (in console and on paper)
• Work with the LD regarding the best way to control groups of fixtures in all studio areas
• Assist in the Creation of “Sheets” for all studio set areas, and instruct in their use.
• Programming the lighting console, including managing control signal distribution throughout the studio, and relay panels or dimmer racks.
• Ability to create DMX fixture profiles in the lighting console as needed.
• Assist LD on creating color pre-sets and Program LED set lighting per WTVD preference..
• Minimum of 2 years of experience programming lighting boards in a production or theater environment
• Experience programming ETC Element 2 lighting console
• Ability to take direction and work with a team
• Formal education not required, but relevant training and experience considered
• Train on the operation of the console
