Job Description
Frost Brown Todd LLP, a national law firm with 1000+ legal and business professionals across seventeen offices, is currently searching for a full-time Legal Recruiting Assistant to support our recruitment efforts. This key role will involve scheduling interviews for qualified attorney candidates, handling data entry and reporting, and assisting with the firm’s summer program.
The ideal candidate will possess a positive, can-do professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Legal Talent recruiting team, including the Chief Legal Talent Officer, Lateral Recruiting Director, Lateral Recruiting Manager and Legal Recruiting Manager, and others as requested. Support may include copying, filing, mailing, and typing.
- Perform data entry of law student and lateral attorney resumes, confirm accuracy of online resume applications, make status updates, and run reports as needed using viDesktop Recruiting Module.
- Assist with interview scheduling for lateral and student candidates.
- Support the planning, preparation and execution of the summer program by maintaining documents and calendars as requested.
- Assist with campus recruiting processes, including school communications, maintaining calendars and pipelines, preparing packets for campus events, compiling materials for recap meetings and tracking results.
- Assist with event details for recruiting programs held internally and externally.
- Assist with the completion of NALP forms and external surveys.
- Assist with the preparation of materials and correspondence for recruiting activities and candidates.
- Perform research projects for the legal recruiting teams.
- Support firm Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) initiatives in recruiting, retaining, and developing lawyers.
Job Requirements:
- College degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in a professional setting.
- Professional Services Firm experience is a plus.
- Possess a high-level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Must be proficient utilizing various Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Action oriented to seek out work as needed to maintain high productivity.
- Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
- Ability to demonstrate good organizational skills including record keeping, data collection, and filing.
- Interpersonal skills to communicate professionally and effectively by e-mail, telephone, and in person.
- Ability to proofread typed material for grammatical, typographical, and spelling errors.
- Knowledge and utilization of LinkedIn and other social media is preferred.
