SUMMARY: Top-ranked multinational law firm is seeking an Attorney Recruiting Assistant to provide general administrative support to the Attorney Recruiting Department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative support, such as answering/screening calls, organizing applicant documents, setting up virtual meetings, sending testing requirements to candidates and other logistical items for staff recruitment
- Handle applicant correspondence and process all incoming applications
- Collaborate with the recruiting team in the on-boarding of staff and assist with other duties including developing orientation packages, annual open enrollments, planning events, etc.
- Conduct reference, employment and background verification; liaise with appropriate vendors
- Maintain applicant tracking system to identify qualified candidates for open positions; utilize outside sourcing resources to identify candidates
- Assist with firm-wide initiatives including health & wellness and diversity, equity & inclusion
- Keep up to date with date with state, federal and firm HR policies
- Assist with candidate interview process, such as confirming appointments, preparing and scanning resumes, etc
- Maintain inventory of recruiting materials and stockroom
- Update recruiting calendar and contacts
- Prepare materials for on-campus interviewers and spring receptions
- Process invoices for payment using appropriate billing accounts
- Design and create the attorney recruiting newsletters
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2+ years experience in recruiting or human resources, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and CRM platform preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of attorney recruitment process
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, good judgment, highly organized, and strong attention to detail
- Must be able to multitask, maintain confidentiality, and act as a team player
- Able to travel between offices to support recruiting programs, when necessary
