Our North American Semiconductor group is searching for a Manufacturing Technician in Reno, NV. This position works 10 hours Monday through Thursday - shift TBD. Initial training hours will vary.
Key Responsibilities include:
- In a cleanroom environment, assemble, configure, install, and test mechanical components and electro-mechanical components.
- Utilize various pressure, flow, calibration and temperature instrumentation.
- Perform product flow testing of flow restrictors and monitor and record test data.
- Perform verification testing and meet quality standards.
- Perform visual inspection of flow restrictor assemblies and incoming production material and collect samples for further inspection if required.
- Package and label flow restrictors for inventory and shipment.
- Work from detailed assembly instructions, drawings and specifications, under guidance of the manufacturing engineer.
Skills and Knowledge:
Required:
- Knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems
- Knowledge of electrical and related mechanical principles, assembly applications and sequences
- General electrical assembly experience and knowledge of electrical and related mechanical principles
- Soldering skills
Desired:
- Certificate or AS degree from a technical school or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office with emphasis on Excel
- Ability to read and understand schematics/blueprints preferred
- Knowledge of cleanroom protocol helpful but not required
